Rustic Industrial Laundry Room Reveal

Y’all. I can’t even believe I’m saying this. The laundry room is DONE! Finally! It seriously has been the project that never ends! It was the first big build project my husband and I have ever done, and that, combined with a rough start to pregnancy, and now a new baby, it has taken us almost a year and a half to complete it! But, it’s done! It’s over! It’s complete! I have so many emotions about this from excitement to relief! And I am sooooo happy with how it all came together. Pretend my face looks like the heart eyes emoji because that’s exactly the face I’m making over here!!!

DIY Rustic Laundry Room Canvas

Okay, okay… I know I’ve been dragging you along waiting for the laundry room reveal… I PROMISE this is the last project before you get to see the whole thing! Pinky promise! I’ve spent the last few weeks collecting pretty rustic and farmhouse decor to put on the laundry room shelves, but I started to feel like the walls needed a little something extra. Other than the rustic ironing board hanger I made, there is nothing on the walls. So, I decided to try making one of those cute farmhouse wood trimmed canvases I’ve been seeing all over Pinterest lately.

Laundry basket baby shower gift

Ever since I made this laundry themed baby shower gift for a friend last summer, it’s become my staple shower gift! Laundry supplies are a must have for all expecting parents, and a basket of goodies is so easy to customize to their personal taste and style. I’ve gifted several of these baskets now, but I wanted to share it again because this one that I made for one of my best friends recently is one of my favorites I’ve ever made!!! I love how all of the colors came together! The Aztec patterns and bright colors are so girly and fun! :)

Stenciled Closet Wall- Monthly DIY Challenge

I seriously can’t believe it’s June already! Time is flying so fast these days! But, another month means another Monthly DIY Challenge! Yay!!! If you’re new around here, the second Wednesday of every month, some of my favorite bloggers and I do a little challenge where we pick one common item or theme, and we each create a unique project. It’s so much fun!!! This month, we all used large scale stencils to beautify a space or project. I’m a total newbie to stenciling, so I learned a lot with this challenge and was fairly impressed with how it all turned out despite the troubles I ran into!

This month’s challenge is sponsored by Royal Design Studio Stencils. They carry all types of gorgeous stencils! There are seriously stencils to meet anyone’s style preferences! I chose this beautiful Mamounia Moroccan Trellis wall stencil.
