Wedding Wednesdsay- Favors with DIY Thank You tags

Welcome back to week three of Wedding Wednesday where I'm sharing some DIY inspiration from my own wedding! This week I'm sharing some super simple wedding favors that are easily customizable... M&M's!

Wedding favors are another one of those things that are so hard to choose because there are so many options! We wanted something simple that most people would actually enjoy eating and that we could color coordinate. Bring on the M&M's!

I used tulle circles to put the M&M's in. You can buy them at most craft stores in the wedding aisle or you can order them online

The M&M's themselves come in a variety of colors so you can easily match your wedding colors. They have the option of putting writing on them, but we decided against that. I will say ahead of time... M&M's are expensive. To save 15% on $100 click here and use coupon code MYSAVINGS15 (valid until 12/31/16).

I ended up ordering about 18 pounds of M&M's for 130 people based on recommendations in the forums on Wedding Wire, and we ended up with at least a couple of pounds left over. Use your own judgement here. Personally, once the wedding was over, and I didn't have to worry about fitting in that dress any more, I didn't mind having the extra M&M's around ;)

We tied off the bags with some simple white ribbon and made our own Thank You tags. To make the tags, print the words "thank you" in a pretty font on some pretty paper (we used Stardream metallics in "lagoon"). Then use a one inch circle punch to cut them out. Use a regular hole punch to tie on the ribbon.

Set up a little assembly line with your soon-to-be hubby and you're done in no time! Easy peasy! And oh so delicious!
