Updated Windchime

Today, I have another super easy outdoor project to share with you!
A few years back, I bought this green windchime from World Market to hang from a tree outside of my old basement apartment.

The weather has taken a toll on it over the years. The paint was faded and peeling. Instead of throwing it away and buying a new one, I thought I would give it a little face lift instead!
I untied and removed all of the strings except for the ones attached to the hook at the top because they were still in pretty good shape. Then I removed as much paint as I could with a fine grit sandpaper.

Then I picked out some paint colors to match the outdoor pillows I made. I used Ceramcoat Laguna Blue and Ceramcoat Navy.

I gave each piece two coats of paint. Then, I coated them with Rustoleum's sealant.

I re-threaded everything with black nylon thread.

And voila!!! A simple windchime makeover :)
